AI-Based Knee Disorder Detection
During my AIoT internship at NIT Warangal, I contributed to the development of a non-invasive diagnostic system for early detection of knee joint disorders using vibroarthrographic (VAG) signals captured from accelerometer sensors. The project involved advanced signal processing techniques, including Wavelet and Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) for denoising, and comprehensive feature extraction across time, frequency, and statistical domains. We implemented and evaluated multiple machine learning models to classify knee conditions as normal or abnormal. The system was designed to be cost-effective, scalable, and suitable for potential real-time clinical use.
